Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young hosted the Villanova Alumni Club of Greater Philadelphia's inaugural Villanova Alumni United and Leading Together Speaker Series at the firm's headquarters.
More than 100 Villanova alumni attended the event to hear Philadelphia 76ers president and Villanova alum Christopher Heck share his 76ers branding and marketing story and how his Villanova University education prepared him for his career.
The event was hosted by Villanova alumni Gary Bagin, Stradley Ronon's chief business development and marketing officer; Caroline Goldstein, assistant district attorney at Montgomery County District Attorney's Office; and Bob Hart, vice president at AllianceBernstein Private Wealth Management.
The VAULT Speaker Series was coordinated by Judy Duroseau, Leigh Weitzmann Stewart and Meredith Emery Okenquist of Villanova's Alumni Relations Department and sponsored by Stradley Ronon, AllianceBernstein and Stephano Slack LLC. Pictured, from left, are Bagin, Goldstein, Hart and Heck.

Clark Hill announced that Kevin Watson joined the firm as a member in the construction law practice in the firm's Philadelphia office.
Watson's practice is focused on the litigation and resolution of complex construction, commercial, professional liability, intellectual property, products liability and environmental matters.
He represents domestic and international contractors, design professionals and project owners before various federal, state and international courts and arbitration panels.
Watson's experience includes contract preparation and risk management for clients bidding or performing work on a variety of projects ranging from heavy industry, transit and pharmaceutical construction to commercial, educational and residential construction.
Watson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law.
Watson is a member of the National Panel of Arbitrators for the American Arbitration Association and is on the active roster of neutrals specializing in construction disputes.
He is a member of the American Bar Association's Forum on Construction Litigation, the Design Build Institute, the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Delaware Valley Association of Structural Engineers and the Engineers Club of Philadelphia.
He is a past member of the American Institute of Architects and served on AIA Philadelphia's practice management committee.
Watson is also an engineer-in-training in the commonwealth of Kentucky.

Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg partner David Steerman was a course planner and moderator at a parenting coordination program that took place in Philadelphia at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.
The program was co-sponsored by the Pennsylvania Psychological Association.
In addition to helping plan the entirety of the course, Steerman moderated the section "Resistance and Refusal/Alienation and Estrangement—Identification and Explanation: What every PC should know about this topic," which discussed the issues of resistance, refusal, alienation and estrangement in the custody context in general and within the parenting coordination process.
Steerman is the chair of Klehr Harrison's family law practice group and focuses his practice on family law matters exclusively, including but not limited to issues encompassing child custody, divorce, alimony, child support, spousal support and premarital and marital agreements.
He also writes and speaks on divorce and other family law related topics.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
