Wisler Pearlstine partner Amy P. De Shong was interviewed on Main Line TV's show "Legal Talk with Stacy Clark" on custody, child support and alimony issues that are arising during the coronavirus pandemic.

De Shong covered what parents should do to follow court orders, what to do if one parent does not cooperate with agreements due to the pandemic, and what should be done if a parent paying alimony or child support is furloughed or laid off.

De Shong is a family law attorney who counsels clients on all aspects of divorce, child custody, distribution of assets, support and alimony, as well as property settlement agreements, prenuptial agreements, cohabitation and partnership agreements, family business agreements, protection from abuse matters, and more.

She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association, where she served in several leadership positions, including director, chair of the family law section, chair of the continuing legal education committee and chair of the Montgomery County Law Reporter committee.

She also serves on the board of managers of the American Academy of Matrimonial Attorneys' Pennsylvania chapter.

De Shong graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1986 and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Elected and Appointed

Lehigh Valley Community Foundation named Gross McGinley attorney R. Nicholas Nanovic to its board of governors.

He will serve on the community foundation's community relations committee.

As the chair of Gross McGinley's wills, trusts and estates group, Nanovic is an accredited estate planner by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils and has background in estate planning, trusts, estate administration, taxation and business.

Nanovic assists individuals and business owners with navigating complex tax matters, helping them understand their potential tax liabilities with the Internal Revenue Service and Pennsylvania Department of Revenue.

Additionally, he advises business entities on how to properly structure corporations, S corporations, LLCs and partnerships.

Nanovic volunteers and serves as a regional coordinator with the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Wills for Heroes program that provides free basic estate planning documents to first responders and military veterans in Pennsylvania.

He currently serves as coordinator for Lehigh and Northampton Counties.

He also served on the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation's board of associates.

He is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, Lehigh County, Northampton County and Carbon County bar associations.

Nanovic earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.

He is admitted to practice in Florida and New Jersey as well as Pennsylvania.

The board of governors at the Lehigh Valley Community Foundation provides administrative, programmatic and fiscal oversight in support of the organization's mission.

Members of the board serve as ambassadors, promoting the community foundation as a vehicle for philanthropy and a leader of community improvement.
