The McAndrews Law Offices' estates and trusts department announced that Lindsey J. Conan became associated with the firm as of counsel.

In addition to her work with the McAndrews Law Offices, Conan continues to practice independently in Media.

Conan concentrates her practice in estate planning, probate, elder law, special needs planning, guardianship, will contests, Orphan's Court matters and real estate.

In addition to her private practice, Conan was appointed by President Judge Kevin F. Kelly of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas to serve as a master in crisis court.

In this role, she determines whether a patient's involuntary commitment should be extended beyond the initial statutory hold.

Prior to opening her own firm, she practiced with Judge William C. Mackrides of the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas.

Conan is a graduate of the Widener University School of Law.

She has experience lecturing for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute and the Delaware County Bar Association and is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Elected and Appointed

McNees Wallace & Nurick announced that Kathleen Duffy Bruder was reappointed as a member of the civil procedural rules committee by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania for a term of three years, commencing July 1, 2020.

Bruder, an attorney and lobbyist at McNees, is a member of the firm's government relations practice, energy and environmental, public finance and government services, oil and natural gas, pipeline and oil/gas infrastructure, food and beverage, and state and local tax groups.

She counsels clients with diverse legal needs and assists clients as they navigate challenges and opportunities that involve state, federal and local governments.

She has over 25 years of experience representing clients in private and public sectors including her service as Gov. Tom Corbett's deputy chief of staff and as a senior advisor in different cabinet positions for the late Mayor Stephen Reed for the city of Harrisburg.

She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Dauphin County Bar Association.

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Dayton School of Law and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.
