Brian Fritz, partner at the law firm Fritz & Bianculli, launched Livelihoods to Lives, a program designed to help local businesses while expressing gratitude to people working the front lines in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic in the region.
Fritz, who is self-funding the program, purchases meals from various locally owned restaurants and donates them to frontline responders at hospitals and police departments who are working to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
Meal donations started the week of April 13 and are set to continue throughout the coming weeks.
Some of the restaurants with which Fritz is working include Macaroni's in Northeast Pennsylvania; Frankie's Fellini Café in Berwyn; Scannicchio's in South Philly; Di'Nics Roast Pork & Beef in Mount Ephraim, New Jersey; Kitchen Consigliere in Collingswood, New Jersey; Oregon Steaks in South Philly; and Bodega Bar in Center City.

In honor of National Donate Life Month in April, Pond Lehocky Giordano LLP founding partner Thomas J. Giordano was set to host a webinar for transplant patients and their caregivers about Social Security benefits.
The webinar which was in partnership with Gift of Life Family House.
Gift of Life Family House serves transplant patients and their families by providing temporary, affordable lodging and supportive services to those who travel to Philadelphia for transplant-related care.
Gift of Life Family House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization.
Giordano focuses his work on assisting disabled Americans.
He leads Pond Lehocky Disability, the firm's nationwide Social Security and disability insurance arm.
The department represents disabled individuals in all 50 states.
Giordano also previously served on the board of directors of the Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania.
A graduate of Rutgers University Law School, Giordano currently serves as the chair of the Social Security disability committee of the American Association for Justice and as the co-chair of the Social Security disability section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
Giordano is a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimant's
Representatives and the National Association of Disability Representatives.
He serves on the board of directors of the Lupus Foundation of America.
He is also a member of Public Justice and the Justinian Society.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
