Paul D. Edger, managing attorney of the Carlisle, Chambersburg and Gettysburg offices of MidPenn Legal Services, became the chair-elect of the PBA young lawyers division.
Edger began his involvement in the PBA YLD over a decade ago.
He served for two years as the YLD treasurer and for three years as a co-chair of the YLD's Zone Three.
For the past year, he served on behalf of the YLD in the PBA House of Delegates.
Edger acted a juror, attorney advisory and presiding judge in the PBA Statewide High School Mock Trial Competition, which is coordinated by the YLD.
He offered free legal services as part of Wills for Heroes, a program co-sponsored by the YLD that provides free wills and estate planning documents to first responders and military veterans.
Edger is a voting delegate in the PBA House of Delegates.
He is a member of the PBA unauthorized practice of law committee and the PBA legal services to the public committee.
Also active in the local organized bar, Edger served as the 2014-16 chair of the Cumberland County Bar Association young lawyers division and currently serves on the Cumberland County
Bar Association board of directors.
Edger worked for two years at the Law Offices of Peter Russo in Mechanicsburg before joining MidPenn Legal Services as a staff attorney in early 2014.
MidPenn is a nonprofit, public-interest law firm dedicated to providing equal access to justice and civil legal services to low-income residents and survivors of domestic violence in 18 counties in central Pennsylvania.
He currently oversees all administrative duties associated with MidPenn services provided in Adams, Cumberland, Franklin and Fulton counties.
Edger is an adjunct professor at his alma mater, Widener University Commonwealth Law School.

King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul announced that the Moravian Academy board of trustees voted Karley Biggs Sebia to full membership for a four-year term.
Attorney Sebia previously served as the board's alumni representative in her role as president of the Moravian Academy alumni board.
A partner with KingSpry, Sebia focuses her practice in business and real estate law.
She also advises housing authorities and affordable housing entities on general legal and landlord/tenant matters.
She began her career in the area of education law.
Prior to joining the firm in 2010, Sebia was a law clerk for Judge Stephen G. Baratta of the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas.
She is a member of the Northampton County Bar Association and previously served on its board of governors.
She also serves as a trustee of the Foundation for Bethlehem Area Schools and is a board member for the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
She earned her Juris Doctor at Duquesne University School of Law and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Jennifer Zegel, a partner at Kleinbard, was elected to be a council member of the executive committee of the real property, probate and trust law section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
She is set to serve a three-year term.
Zegel is part of Kleinbard's business and finance department and is the practice leader of the firm's trusts and estates group.
She focuses her practice on the representation of clients in the areas of trusts and estates, business law, real estate and employment law.
She handles a range of trusts and estates matters including the drafting of wills, trusts, special needs trusts, powers of attorney, and health care powers of attorney documents at all levels of complexity.
In addition, Zegal assists clients in estate, trust and guardianship administration, and business succession planning.
A large portion of her trusts and estates practice is devoted to asset distribution while minimizing potential tax liability on asset transfers.
She counsels clients on how to incorporate digital asset planning into an estate plan or business succession plan.
She regularly speaks at conferences, writes articles and is a media source on the topic of digital assets, cryptocurrency, and blockchain technology.
Working with two other Philadelphia attorneys, Zegal co-created the Digital Planning Podcast, which explores digital in connection with estate planning, business planning and estate administration.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
