Strassburger McKenna Gutnick & Gefsky announced the addition of Danielle L. Dietrich as a shareholder with the firm's Pittsburgh office.
Licensed in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia, Dietrich's practice focuses on small women- and diverse-owned businesses, health care law and commercial litigation.
Dietrich represents small businesses, large corporations, public utilities, universities, school districts, individuals and hospitals.
Dietrich received her Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2005.
Speakers
Robert R. Watson Jr., a shareholder in Eastburn and Gray's construction law practice group and a member of the firm's management committee, served as faculty at the Associated Builders & Contractors Eastern Pennsylvania's webinar, "Legal & Contractual Issues in Construction."
His topic was part of the yearlong Emerging Contractors series presented by the chapter.
Watson's program covered ways to avoid the pitfalls of construction contracting, project issues and payment concerns.
This program guided attendees through the entire process of contract development to better understand important contract provisions and how to properly document project conditions to minimize the risk of devastating financial loss.
With nearly 20 years of experience representing clients from all aspects of the construction industry, Watson is a frequent lecturer on construction law-related topics.
In 2018, Eastburn and Gray was named the chapter's Associate Member of the Year.
Elected and Appointed
Feldman Shepherd announced that attorney Patricia M. Giordano was elected second vice president of the New Jersey Association for Justice.
She is set to be installed Thursday.
Giordano presently serves as NJAJ's third vice president and held a number of executive leadership positions at NJAJ since 2010.
She currently serves as co-chair of NJAJ's medical malpractice committee, a co-chair of its Women Trial Lawyers Caucus and is a member of the diversity, equity and inclusion committee.
In 2018, she was appointed by New Jersey Chief Justice Stuart Rabner as the NJAJ representative to the New Jersey Supreme Court women in the courts committee for the 2018 through 2020 term.
NJAJ is a statewide association of over 2,400 members in private practice and public service, including attorneys, paralegals, law clerks, law students and law school graduates not yet admitted to the bar.
NJAJ aims to protecting New Jersey's families by working to preserve and strengthen the laws for safer products and workplaces, a cleaner environment and quality health care.
At Feldman Shepherd, Giordano's practice focuses on birth and neonatal injury and medical malpractice cases.
She also lectures to other attorneys on medical malpractice and related topics.
She earned her law degree from New England Law in Boston and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Announcements
The Barristers' Association of Philadelphia Inc. is seeking volunteers with criminal law experience to provide pro bono representation to individuals arrested since May 30 in connection with exercising their First Amendment rights to assemble, speak and petition.
Barristers is also seeking volunteers to provide pro bono legal assistance to the small, black businesses harmed or otherwise disrupted by the recent riots.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
