Capehart Scatchard announced that Stacey R. Gorin is set to be inducted as the young lawyer trustee for the Burlington County Bar Association on Thursday via Zoom.
An in-person celebration is slated to be held in September at Laurel Creek Country Club.
Gorin's loyalty to the BCBA began during her clerkship with Judge Richard J. Nocella of the New Jersey Superior Court.
During her two-year term, she will coordinate the charitable and social activities of the young lawyers' division.
Her experience also includes serving as a judicial extern to Judge David M. Ragonese of the New Jersey Superior Court.
In addition to her involvement with the BCBA, Gorin is a member of the Camden County Bar Association.
Gorin earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Camden, New Jersey.
She is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young announced Michelle H. Badolato was appointed to serve as president of the Camden County Bar Association.
The CCBA is an association of legal professionals dedicated to improving the administration of justice, advancing the interests of the legal profession and serving Camden County, New Jersey, and the surrounding communities.
Badolato concentrates her practice in the areas of consumer financial litigation, banking, real estate, commercial litigation, foreclosure and bankruptcy.
She served as a trustee and then an officer of the CCBA for over 13 years and continues to serve it in her role as president.
Badolato also served as a trustee for the Camden County Bar Foundation, the charitable arm of the CCBA, for 13 years.

Pond Lehocky Giordano LLP founding partner Jerry M. Lehocky is slated to host a webinar at 4:30 p.m. June 16 titled "The Impact of Covid-19 on Workers' Compensation and Treatment" with the Pennsylvania Pain Society.
Lehocky will discuss the effect that the pandemic has on workers' compensation patients in their case, the changes seen in the legal world with the use of technology, and what would classify a workers' compensation case resulting from the virus.
The webinar is open to the public, however advance registration is required.
Lehocky concentrates his practice on workers' compensation and Social Security, which he began practicing in 1985.
Initially, he represented employers and insurance companies but began exclusively representing claimants in 1991.
Lehocky previously served as chairman of the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers workers' compensation section, advising several Pennsylvania governors and state legislators on workers' compensation issues.
He co-authored the 2006 law creating the Uninsured Employers Guaranty Fund, which provides workers' compensation benefits to those with uninsured employers.
Lehocky currently serves on the Pennsylvania Association for Justice's board of governors, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association's board and the disciplinary board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

The Barristers' Association of Philadelphia Inc. held a virtual general body meeting to discuss the collective pain, trauma, grief and anger felt by its members in the wake of George Floyd's murder.
Black attorneys and law students participated in the opportunity to air their emotions in a safe space.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
