Elected and Appointed
Archer & Greiner partner Steven K. Mignogna was appointed vice chair of the fiduciary litigation committee of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
Mignogna serves as the chair of Archer's estate and trust litigation practice group and focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with a concentration on probate matters, estates, fiduciaries, guardianships and real estate.
Mignogna is the New Jersey state chair of ACTEC.
Along with his serving as New Jersey state chair and vice chair of the fiduciary litigation committee, he is active in ACTEC in several other areas, which include the professional responsibility committee, the program committee, the joint task force of ACTEC and the National College of Probate Judges, and the advisory committee to ACTEC's Mid-Atlantic Fellows Institute.
ACTEC is an association of trusts and estates lawyers.
Its members are elected to the college by demonstrating integrity, commitment to the profession, competence and experience as trust and estate counselors.
ACTEC members contribute to the field of trusts and estates law through writing, teaching and bar leadership activities.
Mignogna also serves on the advisory committee of the Heckerling Institute and is active in the American Bar Association, where he held several leadership roles in the ABA's real property, trust and estate law section, including serving as chair of the litigation, ethics and malpractice group.
In 2017, the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education honored Mignogna with the Distinguished Service Award.
Mignogna was also appointed to the board of directors of Encore Series Inc.

The Philadelphia Association of Defense Counsel is set to offer a webinar titled "Making Mindfulness and Keeping Calm Part of Your Daily Life in Avoiding Stress in the Practice of Law" on July 30.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young partner Jeffrey D. Grossman served as a moderator for the Pennsylvania Association of Mutual Insurance Cos. webinar.
The panel, "Cybersecurity for the Remote Workforce," explained enhanced risks due to the shift to remote working brought on by COVID-19 and provided practical solutions for companies to better defend against cyberattacks and prepare to mitigate risk in the event of a cyber breach.
Grossman is a trial lawyer who focuses his practice on complex litigation and regulatory matters within the fields of insurance, cyber, health care and construction.
His practice entails resolving disputes between private parties, as well as disputes involving industry and governmental regulators.
Grossman's experience covers a spectrum of matters, including surety and fidelity, securities, general commercial litigation, professional liability and general negligence.
He handles cases in federal and state courts, and before arbitration tribunals.
Grossman is a member of the American Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Penn State Dickinson Law and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement.
