Raphael Castro is the newest attorney at the Law Offices of Eric A. Shore.

Castro focuses his practice on representing the seriously injured.

His practice includes personal injury, workers' compensation, employment and civil rights cases. Castro is a former prosecutor, and he investigated and litigated trials.

He represents injured workers, fighting against corporations and insurance companies to recover victories.

Beyond the courtroom, Castro serves on multiple boards, including the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement, the 26th Police District Advisory Council, SEAMAAC, the Philadelphia Bar Association young lawyer division, the millennial advisory committee for the city of Philadelphia, and the minority committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Castro earned a Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware School of Law.

He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Willig, Williams & Davidson attorney Jessica R. Brown is set to co-present "Social Media and other Hot Topics for Public Sector Employees and Employers" at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's A Day on Employment Law 2020.

She will co-present with Jennifer E. Will of McNees Wallace & Nurick.

The program will cover the issues that social media presents for public sector employers, employees and the unions that represent them.

The session will address common topics, including objecting to a member of the public taking photos of employees for dissemination on social media; when a public sector employee can be disciplined for social media posting; and when a public sector employee can object to their image being used by the employer.

The presenters will address other recent hot topics impacting public sector employment.

Brown represents public and private sector labor unions and individual employees before state and federal courts and in arbitrations, negotiations and administrative proceedings across a range of legal areas.

She has experience in Equal Opportunity Employment, Fair Labor Standards, Americans With Disabilities and Family Medical Leave matters.

The Employment Law Institute 2020 brings comprehensive updates, insights and practical advice for employment law professionals.

Each day of the Institute is approved by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board for 6 hours of CLE credit.

Brown's presentation is scheduled to be held from 3:10 to 4:10 p.m. Sept. 24 as an online webinar.
