The Pennsylvania Superior Court has ruled that a previously undisclosed communication between doctors about a patient's fatal aneurysm tolled the two-year statute of limitations in a wrongful death action.

A three-judge appellate panel consisting of Judges Judith Olson, Alice Dubow and Maria McLaughlin vacated a Lackawanna County court's dismissal of plaintiff Linda Reibenstein's lawsuit against Dr. Patrick Conaboy and Dr. Charles Barax over the death of Mary Ann Whitman.
