A disbarred personal injury attorney from Bucks County has been charged with allegedly misappropriating more than half a million dollars of settlement money from one of his clients and spending it on jewelry, vacations, college tuition payments and his mortgage.

The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office charged Michael F. Bradley of Warrington with several felonies for allegedly siphoning more than $563,000 worth of a $1.105 million settlement he obtained for a client who was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident that occurred in Montgomery County. The charges against the 50-year-old lawyer include theft by deception, receiving stolen property, theft by unlawful taking and theft by failure to make required disposition of funds received, among others.
