Capehart Scatchard shareholder Denise L. Sanders and IT director Mark Wiltshire are slated to present "Law Firm Privacy and Security—Policies and Practices."
The presentation will provide information to lawyers regarding the HIPAA privacy, security and data breach regulations that apply to them as employees of a HIPAA business associate and the policies that implement compliance with those requirements.
It will also address the applicability of New Jersey identity theft and data breach laws, provide an update on the Rules of Professional Conduct, and review examples of privacy and security risks for lawyers.
