As the rest of the U.S. legal industry saw an increase in revenue during the first half of 2020, Pennsylvania was one of just two regions where revenue was flat.

According to a recent survey from Citi Private Bank, the legal industry did well the first half of the year, despite the COVID-19 pandemic, indicating the austerity measures that firms took across the board were a good risk management tool. And while Pennsylvania firms outpaced their peers in cutting expenses, they fell behind on demand.
