The U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania is set to have a full complement of commissioned judges on the bench, following the confirmation Wednesday of a former federal appeals court clerk to a seat on the busy court.

On Wednesday, the U.S. Senate voted 82-14 to confirm Christy Criswell Wiegand as a judge on the Western District. Once Wiegand is sworn in, it will be the first time the Western District has had a full complement of judges since 2013.
