In response to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court agreeing to hear Bill Cosby’s appeal of his sexual assault convictions, Montgomery County prosecutors have filed a brief arguing the comedian, formerly known as America’s Dad, was rightly convicted of sex crimes.

Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele said Tuesday that Cosby and his lawyers were grasping at straws in a last-ditch effort to spring the 83-year-old from state prison, where he is currently serving a three- to 10-year sentence.
