A group of 10 former federal judges, including one from a Pennsylvania district court and one from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, urged the Senate and Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky, on Tuesday not to confirm a new U.S. Supreme Court justice before the 2020 presidential election is settled, saying the move would undermine public trust in the court.
