Frank Edward Gilbert, a Philadelphia attorney, died Sept. 17 at the age of 83, according to an obituary published in The Philadelphia Inquirer. He died from complications related to Alzheimer’s disease.

Gilbert worked for the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office both at the beginning and end of his career, with his most recent stint beginning in 1980 and continuing through to his 2006 retirement as a charging unit senior trial assistant.
