McNees Wallace & Nurick privacy and data security attorney Devin Chwastyk is scheduled to take part in the National Association of Counties Tech Xchange: Fall Virtual CIO Forum Series on Thursday.
Chwastyk's session, "Cybersecurity Terms for Contracts," will summarize the most necessary and contested language for technology contracts, including confidentiality, data ownership, cyber insurance and the allocation of liability and risk between the vendor and customer. Chwastyk is a member of the privacy and data security practice group.
He counsels the firm's clients on privacy and cybersecurity issues and assists them in developing data security policies, privacy disclosures, breach response plans and related training programs.
