The Pennsylvania Supreme Court has appointed Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas Judge Lisette Shirdan-Harris as the new administrative judge, replacing Judge Jacqueline Allen.

The Legal previously reported that Allen was to be removed from her position in the middle of her second three-year term and that Shirdan-Harris, the supervising judge of the trial division, would be the likely replacement. Sources said that a tense relationship between Allen and President Judge Idee Fox over decision-making contributed to her removal.
