Barley Snyder attorney Timothy P. Malloy was appointed to a seat on the board of directors at the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
The league is a nonprofit organization caring for nearly 5,000 animals each year to help them find a new home, or to help reunite them with their owners, according to its website.
The league started in 1952, and beyond its shelter and adoption programs, it offers surrender prevention programs, low-cost veterinary services and clinics, and outreach and education events throughout the county.
