Amber Racine, celebrated by friends and colleagues both as an accomplished young lawyer active in Philadelphia’s legal community and as a beacon of inspiration and humanity, has died at the age of 39.

Racine practiced law at Raynes Lawn Hehmeyer in Philadelphia, was a one-time chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Board of Governors and served as an advisory board member of the Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia. In 2018, she was appointed by Gov. Tom Wolf as an adviser on state appellate judicial appointments.
