Following is a listing of executive, legislative and electoral action for the week of Nov. 9. The Pennsylvania Senate was in session at press time. The state House of Representatives was in recess at press time. The House was scheduled to return to session Monday.

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro secured a second term in a closely fought race, Stacy Garrity unseated state Treasurer Joe Torsella in an upset, and Timothy DeFoor was elected to the post of auditor general, as Republicans took two out of three statewide races in the November election.
