K&L Gates is seeking to move to arbitration a former partner’s retaliation suit, in which he alleged that he was forced out for raising discrimination concerns. And the firm is also alleging that the former partner has been harassing the firm and its lawyers since before he was terminated.

The firm filed a motion to compel arbitration Thursday, in a case brought by former partner Willie Dennis, citing the arbitration clause of the firm’s partnership agreement, signed by Dennis. K&L Gates is represented by Guy Brenner and Kathleen McKenna of Proskauer Rose.
