The Pennsylvania Superior Court has denied a mother’s pursuit of child support from a person not biologically related to her child whom she claimed signed an acknowledgement of paternity.

A three-judge panel upheld the Lawrence County trial court’s ruling that Jamie Denelle’s former spouse, Samantha Denelle (formerly Marc Allen Denelle), did not sign an acknowledgement of paternity associated with the birth certificate of Jamie Denelle’s daughter, who was fathered by a different man.
