It is time for the court and the board to remember the whole purpose of the disciplinary system is not punitive in nature.
I have a pending disciplinary hearing. Is it possible to work out a guilty plea resolution?
The answer is yes; it is possible to work out what is called a consent agreement for some form of discipline. Whether it is accepted is another question, and that will be explored in this article.
