Entrepreneur Entitled to Hearing

In Ladd v. Real Estate Commission, 230 A.3d 1096 (2020), the Pennsylvania Supreme Court concluded that a plaintiff was entitled to a hearing on whether the commonwealth’s demand that she obtain a real estate broker’s license in order to oversee marketing and other logistical issues for short-term rentals violated her constitutional rights.
