With the news that vaccines are now being rolled out to help combat the COVID-19 pandemic, many across the country are breathing a sigh of relief. But for law firm leaders that emotion has been tempered by a raft of questions about whether they should mandate vaccines for their employees, and what civil liabilities may be lying in wait.

According to several interviews with leaders of small and midsize firms in Pennsylvania, there is no consensus at the moment about whether vaccines should be mandated for attorneys and staff. However, they seem to think just about everybody is continuing to consider the issue from a legal, professional and moral perspective.
