It appears that the most pressing problem most lawyers face who are in private practice is the overwhelming amount of communication. The receipt of emails has become so burdensome that many lawyers often miss or overlook emails that were sent. One lawyer mentioned to this writer the other day that he didn't see certain emails because he receives over 1,000 or 2,000 emails each day. Many other emails end up in spam and if spam is not checked, they are missed.
