Following is a listing of executive and legislative action from the week of Jan. 18. Both houses of the General Assembly were in recess at press time. The Pennsylvania Senate was scheduled to return to session Jan. 22. The state House of Representatives was set to be back in action Jan. 25.

Pandemic Relief

Gov. Tom Wolf on Jan. 20 announced the opportunity for one-time, $600 grants for child care workers across Pennsylvania. The funds are available to child care providers licensed by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning through federal Child Care Development Fund quality dollars and remaining funding previously made available through federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocated for child care providers.
