Former Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce L. Castor Jr. is set to lead the defense team of former President Donald Trump as he faces his second impeachment trial set to start in February.

According to an announcement widely reported by numerous media outlets, including CNN, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Reuters, Trump has selected Castor, along with Alabama lawyer David Schoen, to lead his impeachment defense. The announcement comes shortly after a team of lawyers from South Carolina parted ways with the ex-president’s impeachment defense team.
