A federal appeals court has reversed a ruling that three Pennsylvania legislators were not entitled to immunity from a suit that alleged the trio disrupted the sale of state land to a group intending to use it for a Muslim boarding school.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit on Monday ruled in favor of state Reps. Aaron Bernstine, Christopher Sainato and Elder Vogel Jr., who along with Shenango Township and its associated officials were sued by HIRA Education Services of North America.
