Harold Yaskin, a longtime defender with the Defender Association of Philadelphia, died April 1 at the age of 85.
Yaskin represented the indigent with the defender association for the entirety of his 51-year career, according to his nephew, Kline & Specter partner Lee Balefsky. He held several leadership positions during his tenure with the organization, including chief of the Municipal Court unit.
