King, Spry, Herman, Freund & Faul announced that attorney Avery E. Smith was named chair of the firm's employment law practice group.
As head of the firm's employment practice, Smith will work with public and private sector clients to ensure legally defensible policies and procedures, manage contracts and negotiations, and represent those clients as needed through litigation.
When COVID-19 began, Smith began to prioritize focusing on the regulations, laws and guidance addressing COVID concerns.
