A majority of Pennsylvania-founded Am Law 100 law firms lost some ground in the 2021 ranking by gross revenue, in a year when the cut-off point of $380.3 million in 2019 dropped to $372.9 million.

Eleven law firms founded in Pennsylvania ranked in the Am Law 100, with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius (No. 7), Reed Smith (No. 26), Dechert (No. 37) and K&L Gates (No. 40) again topping the ranking, as in previous years. Barely squeezing into the Am Law 50 after major mergers were Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath (No. 47) and Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders (No. 49).
