Law offices in Philadelphia are renegotiating their use of office space with landlords in the wake of the shift to remote working. But for many law firms, the reduction in real estate has been a long time coming.

Global law firm Dechert signed a short-term lease renewal to occupy four floors, comprising 109,000 square feet, in Philadelphia’s Cira Centre for 12 months, commencing in the first quarter of 2021, according to an April 22 conference call between Brandywine Realty Trust investors and executive leadership.
