Republican legislative leaders on June 2 made their case for a bill that would require deaths attributed to COVID-19 to be reported to county coroners.

Pennsylvania Sen. Judy Ward, R-Blair, and state House of Representatives Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff, R-Centre, argued that there has been a lack of clarity in reporting of pandemic-related deaths by the Department of Health.
