Mazer Moss has accumulated an impressive career of firsts in her long and distinguished career. As an attorney, she was the first woman to serve in the major trial division of the Philadelphia City Solicitor’s Office. She was the first vice-chair and second chair or the Philadelphia Bar Association’s women’s rights committee. She was the first woman judge to serve in the First Judicial District’s Civil Trial Division, as well as the first woman supervising judge serving as that court’s asbestos calendar judge.

She continues to work since leaving the bench in 2013. She currently works as an arbitrator and mediator for Dispute Resolution Institute.
