Former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks has been sentenced to one day in prison and three years of probation for his involvement in a $1.2 million insider trading scheme.

U.S. District Judge Gene E.K. Pratter of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania handed down the sentence at a hearing Thursday, nearly three years after Kendricks admitted to the charges against him. His attorney, Michael Schwartz of Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders, said he and his client were satisfied with the result.
