The Pennsylvania Superior Court ruled that a Washington, Pennsylvania, hospital can seek indemnity or contributions toward satisfaction of a $17 million verdict from the employer of two doctors who were found to be at fault for a catastrophic harm claim. 

The court’s opinion affirmed an order from the Washington County Court of Common Pleas that denied a motion for summary judgment against The Washington Hospital from Dialysis Clinic Inc., the employer of Drs. Jessie Ganjoo and Amit Nahata.
