Philadelphia-area law firms are revising their previously announced policies for bringing employees back to the office as delta variant cases of the coronavirus continue on an upward trend in the state.

Since the beginning of July, daily new confirmed COVID-19 cases have climbed from 136 to more than 1,500 in Pennsylvania, bringing the total number of cases to 1.031 million as of Aug. 6, according to data released by the state Department of Health. Health experts say most new cases are the delta variant.
