Participants learned what the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act of 2008 requires health plans to do to ensure parity between medical/surgical and mental health/substance use disorder benefit coverage.
Presenters went over the new comparative analysis requirement for nonquantitative treatment limitations that took effect in February 2021.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
