A majority of Am Law 100 firms founded in Pennsylvania are now mandating employees get fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition for working in the office. Some more recent additions to that list are Dechert; Morgan, Lewis & Bockius; and Duane Morris.

The upward trend in coronavirus cases around the country, driven largely by the highly contagious Delta variant, has dampened optimism of many Big Law firms hoping to get back into the office on a regular basis by the week of Labor Day. Many with multistate footprints have changed course to include vaccine mandates, and delayed return dates to give working parents extra time to find child care arrangements.
