Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, the international luxury hospitality company headquartered in Toronto, was hit with a patent infringement lawsuit Friday in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court. The court case was brought by Stamoulis & Weinblatt LLC on behalf of Evolve Interactive LLC. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is 2:21-cv-03847, Evolve Interactive LLC v. Four Seasons Hotels Limited.

The complaint, filed Sept. 30 in New York Southern District Court by the Securities and Exchange Commission, accuses the defendants of using consulting agreements, attorney opinion letters and other mechanisms to skirt regulations limiting stock sales by affiliate companies and allowing the defendants to unlawfully profit from sales of Enzolytics stock.
