The Pennsylvania Supreme Court is set to examine whether a time limit on filing attorney fees requests applies in an employee judgment winner’s breach-of-contract case.

Dr. Michael F. Szwerc petitioned the state Supreme Court to review the Superior Court’s July 2020 ruling in Szwerc v. Lehigh Valley Health Network, which found that his request for attorney fees was untimely and the trial court did not have the jurisdiction to consider said request.
