A federal judge has denied four parents’ request to prohibit Tredyffrin/Easttown School District from requiring students to wear face masks in accordance with Pennsylvania’s effort to curb the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.

U.S. District Judge Mitchell Goldberg of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania said in a Sept. 27 order in Geerlings v. Tredyffrin/Easttown School District that the plaintiffs should be denied an emergency injunction against the district since they were unlikely to succeed on the merits of the case.
