With COVID still rearing its ugly head due to variants and people’s refusal to get vaccinated, employers must now play a pivotal role in the fight to end this pandemic. Employers can mandate vaccination; the law and courts are on your side. President Joe Biden’s Sept. 9 announcement took further, dire steps to spur vaccination and address head-on the fact that only 62% of eligible Americans are fully vaccinated, per the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

“We’ve been patient,” Biden told the tens of millions of Americans who have declined to get coronavirus shots. “But our patience is wearing thin, and your refusal has cost all of us.”
