Entertainment and LeisureMGM Growth Properties, the major operator of casinos in Las Vegas, and its board of directors were hit with a shareholder lawsuit Monday in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court over the company's proposed acquisition by VICI Properties Inc. for $17.2 billion. The action was brought by Grabar Law on behalf of Matthew Hopkins. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:21-cv-04556, Hopkins v. MGM Growth Properties LLC et al.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
