The Philadelphia-based law firm Kleinbard is suing a central Pennsylvania county and its district attorney for nearly $75,000 in unpaid legal bills that its former top prosecutor racked up during a contentious legal battle with county commissioners.
The 39-attorney firm filed its lawsuit against Lancaster County's board of commissioners and the District Attorney's Office earlier this month, seeking to compel the public officials to pay $74,193.06 for services rendered in 2019.
