Over three and a half years into Larry Krasner’s tenure as Philadelphia district attorney, his easy clinching of a second term in Tuesday’s election indicates continued support for his progressive approach to criminal justice, which has influenced a growing list of like-minded DAs nationally. But even some advocates for the reform he preaches question whether his inability to work with his opponents in the justice system will stand in the way of his goals.

Indeed, a number of individuals who worked under Krasner voiced concerns about the future efficacy of the District Attorney’s Office itself as it reportedly sees high rates of assistant district attorney turnover and resulting low morale.
