The Defender Association of Philadelphia has chosen a former top official in the Montgomery County Public Defender Office to act as its new chief defender.

The board of directors for the association announced Nov. 6 that Keisha Hudson, who was deputy chief public defender in Montgomery County until February 2020, was appointed to fill the top defender position after Keir Bradford-Grey stepped down in March of this year.
